We have a Money Matters Adviser working within Ardenglen Housing Association delivering a comprehensive Financial Inclusion Service. For the period 1 April 2022 till 31 March 2023, we assisted 203 tenants.  The assistance we provided including help with Community Care, Education, Debt, Financial Capability, Energy and Welfare Rights.  We successfully secured gains of almost £428k.  This works out an average of over £2,000 per client.  We also assisted to resolve debt issues totalling almost £34k with debts owing for Rent Arrears, Council Tax Arrears and arrears with credit cards, gas and electricity, store cards, personal loans etc.
